Overview
Café Prego is a great place to meet for lunch or drinks, or to stop and have a rest while you are visiting the galleries. Serving hot and cold food, sandwiches and light meals, cakes and pastries and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including Illy coffee.
You’ll find us in the heart of Middlesbrough between two of the town’s best loved landmarks – the historic Carnegie Library and Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen’s sculpture Bottle of Notes. Perfect neighbours for an institution whose art collections span from 1900 to the present day.
