This small friendly bed and breakfast provides first-class accommodation and a substantial full English breakfast. We use mainly organic/fair trade/local produce are a speciality. Vegetarians are well catered for. The town has revived its Victorian heritage, the restoration of the pier is an added attraction at the bottom of the water-operated cliff lift.

The town is on the edge of the North York Moors, excellent walking country and site of the locations for Heartbeat and Harry Potter. The Yorkshire Dales, York, Leeds and Newcastle are all within an hour's drive.
