Heaven and Earth Roundabout
Heaven and Earth consists of 30 differently scaled cast iron spheres representing the planets and stars. These are dotted around the roundabout.
Heaven and Earth Roundabout by Eric Bainbridge was commissioned by Hartlepool Borough Council and Cleveland Arts in 1999 and is the latest gateway sculpture in the North of England.

From the A19 North or South take the A179 turnoff to Hartlepool, at the second roundabout take the third exit to continue on the A179. Continue until next roundabout and take the second exit onto Powlett Road, Continue straight on at the next roundabout until you come to the next roundabout which is Heaven and Earth.
