Built in 1897, the Town Hall Theatre is extensively used for professional and non-professional theatre productions. The facilities are extremely versatile and can accommodate meetings, presentations, award ceremonies, parties, exhibitions and also serves as a venue for the National Blood Service. The theatre has a licence for weddings and civil ceremonies and if fully licensed for the sale of alcohol, performance of stage plays and public entertainment.

Head north east on A19. Take the A689 exit toward A1(M)/Bishop Auckland/Durham/Hartlepool. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A689. Go through 6 roundabouts, then turn left at Victoria Road. Turn right at Avenue Road, continue to end of road, turn right onto Raby Road and continue past the first right exit and Theatre is on the right.
For car parking - at the end of Avenue Road turn left. Millhouse public car park can be found on the right.
Approximately an 8 minute walk from Hartlepool Train Station. Exit the train station onto Station Approach. Turn right onto Lynn Street, bear left and turn right onto Church Street (A178). Turn left onto Stockton Street (A689) then sharp right onto Clarence Road. Turn left onto Museum Road then left onto Raby Road.
