Captain Cook Square
Captain Cook Square is the most recent shopping experience in Middlesbrough, featuring many popular shops gathered around a square with ornate glazed canopies. The central brick courtyard with benches and plants is a popular meeting point and gathering spot for locals. There are often street performers entertaining shoppers as they browse through the stores.
Stores include; Virgin Megastore, Waterstones, TJ Hughes, Wilkinsons, Boro FC, TK Maxx and many more.
There is a farmers market on the first Tuesday of every month selling home-grown produce from farmers across the region.
