The people of North East England live up to their partying reputation but as well as cool clubs and stylish bars, Tees Valley is also home to stylish restaurants, country pubs and cosy bistros. There is definitely something for everyone.

Nightlife primarily concentrates in the towns, but there are performance venues everywhere, providing a range of entertainment from comedy to classical concerts, rock to recitals and cinema multiplexes at Hartlepool, Stockton and Middlesbrough.

For clubbers we have Club M in Yarm, better known as the Tall Trees, the largest club in Europe with four floors and three different rooms offering a totally unique experience.

Live music performances from some of today's popular names, both newly established and well-known, can be seen at many venues across Tees Valley. The most popular of which are Middlesbrough's Town Hall and former Empire Theatre, both still retaining much of their original character.
