Tees Cottage Pumping Station
Former Darlington waterworks, first established in 1849. Now a working museum showing the history of water supply from steam through to gas and electric pumping engines.

Nearest major road is A67. Take the A67 Barnard Castle road from Darlington and the pumping station is located just past Broken Scar picnic area on the outskirts of the town.

Arriva buses stop immediately outside Tees Cottage pumping station, on coniscliffe road (A67).
