Redcar Racecourse, affectionately known as the 'Seaside Racecourse' hosts 19 days of action-packed racing from Easter Monday on 5th April to the finale meeting on Friday 15th October - so you've got plenty of choice for a great day out.

Road Directions

Follow the A19 until you reach the A174 junction, follow this towards Redcar where signs for the racecourse become visible. The Racecourse can also be reached via the A66.

Public Transport Directions

Both Central Station and Redcar East railway station are just a few minutes walk to the racecourse.

Ramp / Level Access - The disabled viewing ramp, offering a superb view down the course is located alongside the track in the Grandstand Enclosure.
Toilets for Disabled Visitors - There are toilets for disabled visitors in both the Grandstand and Course Enclosures.

On-Site café/restaurant - A wide variety of food outlets are available ranging from the panoramic views of the Crow's Nest Restaurant to take-away options such as hot beef rolls, burgers and baked potatoes with a variety of fillings.
Picnic Site - The Picnic Site is located in the Centre of the Course Enclosure where racegoers are able to bring in their own picnics.

Payment Methods

Approx length of visit - 4 hours. The entrance gates always open 2 hours before the 1st race. For day time meetings the first race tends to go off at 2pm and on evening meetings the first race tends to go off at 6pm. Please check with the Racecourse Office closer to the event.
