Ships Watch is situated on the seafront in Seaton Carew, which is a traditional seaside resort. This terraced 3 bed-roomed cottage has some original features and a cosy feel.
Enjoy watching the ships and yachts whilst cosily inside. Seaton Carew provides plenty of opportunity for walking, rock pool exploring and opposite the cottage is a favourite spot for sea fishing. Close by at the Tees Estuary is a large grey seal colony. Within 200 yds of the cottage are several restaurants and pubs, there is also a championship golf course. Hartlepool’s stylish marina with its restaurants and bars is close by. Explore the award winning Historic Quay and the Museum of Hartlepool, visit HMS Trincomalee which is Europe’s oldest floating warship. Ships watch also provides the perfect base for those wishing to explore the North East coast and surrounding area. Within an hours drive lie the historic towns of Durham, Newcastle, Whitby, York and the North Yorkshire Moors and dales.

Take the A689 from the A1 or the A19 east towards Hartlepool until you reach the Owton Lodge pub on the right. Continue to the T junction, turn left at the sea, continue past the Norton Hotel. The cottage is 2 doors down facing the sea.
From Hartlepool Station
A 10 minute taxi ride to Seaton Carew from the station and taxi's are usually directly outside.
